Mission
The Creative Arts Council transforms, promotes and improves the city of Milwaukee through the elevation and exposition of all disciplines of the visual and performing arts.

Vision

• Create a unified voice and resource for the artists, arts organizations and cultural community.
  
• Increase audience access, engagement and consumption of the arts.
  
• Enhance the perceived value of the arts as: an economic stimulus, integral in the education system, and main contributor to city vibrancy. 
  
• Change the (local, regional, and national) image of the city of Milwaukee to known as The Hub for creativity and artistic expression. 
  

Strategies

• Make art consumption a fun, social and easy experience for a new class of art enthusiasts.
  
• Build collaborative, dynamic and unique events that increase cross-promotion of many artists and art organizations.
  
• Initiate and sustain long-term art projects that that impact neighborhoods through cultural and economic development. 
  
• Create opportunities for public art installations and large-scale organic promotion of the works. 
  
• Produce programs and services that bolster and support the development and promotional needs of local artists and arts organizations.
• Act as a think tank for ART Milwaukee
