ART Jamboree - Art Fair 

Date: May 18th, 2013
Time:  2pm-10pm 
Location: Grand Ave Mall (Plankinton Building)
Address: 161 W. Wisconsin
  • Free and open to the public (all ages are welcome)
  • Free fist pounds
  • All day fine art and buy local fair
  • Dance, music, theater and live art all day
  • Over 100 visual and performing artists and 50 vendors
  • Cash bar and food vendors
  • $5 all day parking for guests until 11pm.

ART Jamboree Schedule 

2-10pm - ART & Buy Local Fair - Throughout the Entire Grand Ave Mall

Schedule:
  • More than 100 visual and performing artists take over the Grand Ave Mall 
  • 50 local vendors ranging from food, crafts, glass blowing, clothing & more
  • Performances from Sophia's heart
  • Local singer/songwriters spread throughout the Grand Ave Mall
  • Complimentary coffee from Stone Creek Coffee
  • 2 to 5:30pm DJ Simon Says - DJ Lessons from True Skool 
  • The former Old Navy space turns into a Buy Local Bazaar 
  • 7:30pm dance performance by Danceworks on the spiral staircase 
  • 8pm dance performances from Boombox Babies 
  • 6 to 8pm roaming actors in full costume from the Milwaukee Rep
  • Eddie Villanueva install in the Grand Ave window displays on WI Ave

Timothy Westbrook Studios 2-8pm

Former Dispatch Space - Apprentices of Timothy Westbrook Studio will have their work on display. Come speak to the artists and engage their work. 
  • Carl Geenen (Painting), Jasmine McMasters (Mixed media Painting) Marissa Waraksa (Wood turning and performance art)

Timothy Westbrook Studios - Handmade, charities, and local (OH MY!) Art Objects: Sonic Fabric cassette tape woven neck ties, Newman and Potterworks handmade wallets, illustrated book The Circus and the Cyclone by Sue Lawton, Yarn Susans for the traveling knitter, handmade scarves by Timothy Westbrook Studio, and handbags by Linda Marcus proceeds of which all go to support KIVA. 

Timothy Westbrook Studio Soft Opening: Timothy Westbrook is a sustainability focused fiber artist. He has recently moved his studio to the Shops of Grand Avenue and will be constructing all of his costume creations live in the studio. Come see the weaving looms in action and catch a glimpse of creations made from all repurposed materials.
